Swimwerks’ Night And Limited Visibility Course Curriculum
You will complete two evening dives under close instructor supervision, learning to navigate, communicate, and stay oriented in black water.
Duration: 1 evening theory session + 1 night of open-water dives
Location: Singapore coastal sites or Pulau Tioman (or similar)
Day 1
- Meet at Swimwerks HQ
- Depart for Mersing or Tanjung Gemok Ferry Terminal
- Ferry ride to Tioman
- Resort check-in and gear fitting
- Pre-dive safety briefing and night dive theory session over dinner
Day 2
- Morning dive (orientation & limited visibility practice)
- Afternoon dive with navigation drills
- Rest and early dinner
- First night dive: Torch use, communication & buddy procedures
- Night debrief and dive log review
Day 3
- Second night dive (early morning or pre-dawn): Emergency protocols & navigation challenges
- Final debrief and certification check
- Ferry back to the mainland and return to Singapore
