Recovering a dropped camera or lost anchor isn’t luck, it’s a methodical skill set. Our programme follows recognised SSI/PADI standards and mirrors what top Singapore dive centres deliver, giving you both confined-water drills and four full open-water dives for real-world practice.
Day 1 – Theory, Pool & First Open-Water Missions
- Morning: classroom or e-learning recap on search patterns, rope work and lift-bag physics
- Late morning: confined-water session to master knots, compass use and controlled ascents with a lift bag
- Afternoon Dive 1: expanding-square search for a “lost” small object at 10 m
- Afternoon Dive 2: U-pattern search and team communication in low-viz conditions
Day 2 – Advanced Open-Water Scenarios & Certification
- Morning Dive 3: Jack-stay search for a larger item, rigging and raising it with a 25-kg lift bag
- Lunch debrief and gas-planning review
- Afternoon Dive 4: full mock recovery mission combining navigation, lift-bag use and safe ascent procedures
- Final debrief, log-book sign-off and immediate issuance of your SSI Search & Recovery Specialty digital card
