With 2023 upon us, our Swimwerks team is ready to hit the pools again this year! We can’t wait to welcome our new and returning students to the class to kick off the new year together. A new year brings new changes, so here are some updates to the classes we will see in 2023.
Swimwerks updates for 2023
1. Launch of classes at Bukit Canberra
This new year, we are looking forward to kicking off classes at the Bukit Canberra Integrated Sports and Community Hub once it officially opens! The new swimming complex housed in the town sports centre will consist of four pools, including a sheltered pool, a wading pool, an eight-lane lap pool, and a fun pool for kids. With the venue slated to open in Q2 of 2023, this new location will be a welcome addition for those looking for a swimming school in Sembawang or those living in the Northern areas of Singapore.

Why choose Swimwerks in 2023
Since it is the new year, many of us would have set some goals or are in the midst of doing so. With it, you may have heard of the benefits of swimming for young children and are on the hunt for a reliable instructor for your child. If learning how to swim or finding a swimming coach for your child is one of the items on your 2023 checklist, look no further than Swimwerks! Here’s why joining us at Swimwerks will be one of the best decisions you make in 2023;
1. You get to learn from the professionals
You’re looking for a great swim coach – not just a great swimmer. We fully understand the difference it takes to be great at what we do versus being great at teaching it. That is why we have in-house training and assessments for our coaches to ensure they are up to par. Our high quality of teaching standard is upheld by our Head coaches, who together have over 20 years of swim coaching experience.
2. We are trusted and certified
Need proof of our credibility and ability? You’ll be glad to know that we are providers of the Ministry of Education’s SwimSafer Program in schools & government agencies. Our instructors conduct training for swimmers in Nanyang Polytechnic and the Ministry of Home Affairs, in addition to private swimming programs for kids and adults.
3. Learn through a proven curriculum
With proper training and guidance, anyone who can swim has what it takes to be a swimming instructor. But what makes us distinct is our systematic and step-by-step approach to teaching you or your child how to swim. Don’t worry about having two left feet or being afraid of the water. We will teach you all you need to know at a pace that is comfortable for you!
4. Get personal guidance in small group sizes
Safety is a top priority here at Swimwerks, so we want to ensure that our coaches have ample attention on every student. That also means a more personalised learning experience, where your instructor will be able to tailor the pace according to your progress and comfort level. Go private or learn in a small group with no more than six students to one instructor in our classes.
5. Fit lessons anytime in your schedule
Make no excuse for the lack of time to swim, because we have plenty of time slots for you to choose from! Our vast network of qualified instructors means there are many options available for our students, whether you prefer to slot your child in for after-school lessons on weekdays or join us for adult classes on the weekends.
6. Solid track record with over 10,000 students
Over our years of operation, we have trained and equipped over 10,000 students in aquatic skills, including swimming, lifesaving, and swim coaching. Many are happy customers who have overcome their fears of being in the water and gained new skills as swimmers.
